She was studying to be a teacher but after her Playmate appearance, she went on to become a model.

Born on August 17th 1955 in Austin Texas.
Quist was discovered by Playboy through a “Playmate Photo Contest” that the magazine staged in 1977.
Quist’s handprint and name in the concrete sidewalk in front of the Rackley Hardware store in downtown Austin was named by the Austin American Statesman as a tourist spot. The hardware store closed in 1998 and the sidewalk was repaved.
Quist had several unaccredited roles in movies before becoming a Playmate. She received significant screen time in Outlaw Blues, a movie set in Austin.
